Pre-Diagnostic Imaging Findings: High resolution 3-T MRI of the dominant hand revealed interphalangeal ligament complex of the thumb exhibiting intermediate signal intensity on intermediate-weighted fat-saturated images of the radial collateral ligament and the accessory radial collateral ligament.

Pre-Diagnostic Imaging Findings: The high-resolution MRI of the lumbar spine showed a T1 isointense and T2 hyperintense lesion (8 mm) with a hypointense rim in the right L5 lateral recess in proximity to the descending right S1 nerve root most likely represent a synovial cyst arising from the right L5/S1 facet articulation.
